In Loving Memory of Joseph Dewayne Miller
Joseph Dewayne Miller, born on September 6, 1970, in Muncie, IN, passed away on February 11, 2025, in the ICU at Conway Regional Medical Center in Conway, Arkansas.
Dewayne never met a stranger and always had something unexpected to say. He was full of dad jokes, and if you were lucky enough, you would receive random memes, hilarious jokes, and the occasional “I love you” – proving he wasn’t as much of a hard ass as he portrayed.
Dewayne lived life on his own terms, with a drink in hand and a sparkle in his eye. He leaves behind a legacy of mischief and countless stories that will be told for years to come. His humor, redneck wisdom, and vibrant personality touched the lives of many.
To know him was to love him. He could spend an entire day drinking and fishing, often coming home empty-handed on both fronts. His golf swing rarely got the ball past the women’s tee, yet somehow, he had a better shot count on par 5 holes. For years, you dared not say WWE was fake around him. He was full of curse words, bad jokes, and a smile that let you know he was up to no good.
Dewayne is survived by Cathey Cicchirillo, who dealt with him for 17 years; his father Dewey Adeline Miller (married to Melinda Miller); his mother Joyce Marie Miller; his daughter Kristen Marie Miller (married to Jordan Gilmore); his son Joseph Miller; and three beautiful grandchildren, Hayden, Bentley, and Hailey. He also leaves behind his siblings: brothers Bobby Darell Miller (married to Terry Miller) and Dewey Adeline Miller Jr. (married to Lisa Miller), and his favorite sibling, the baby of the family, Tonya Schroeder (married to Matt Schroeder). He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends who he considered family.
May your fishing pole always have a bite, your golf swing never miss the mark, and your laughter keep the angels in stitches. Rest in peace, Dewayne.

He will be missed. Dip doodle was 1 of a kind. Loved playing golf with him, even though he tried some dukes of Hazzard stunts in golf carts. But love him like a brother. RIP Brither.
So sorry for your loss. Sending the warmest of hugs to you all.
