LaDonna K. Cates was born February 22, 1949, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Olen Clode Allen, and Obedia (Jordan) Allen. She passed from this life on February 21, 2025, at the Arkansas Heart Hospital, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Donna retired after 37 years of service to Arkansas Employees Federal Credit union where she achieved the position of President. She loved to travel, Quilting and Spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Donald R. Cates, her parents Olen and Obedia Allen, and one sister Neldia D. Allen.
She is survived by two brothers Clodes Allen (Martha) of Amity, Arkansas and Jerry Allen of Bismark, Arkansas; two sons Mitchell L. Harrison (Kathy) of Frontenac, Kansas and Robert A. Harrison (Susan) of Rover, Arkansas; four grandchildren Michelle Tavenaro (Brian) of Weir, Kansas, Tiffany Tyler (Ty) of Longtown, Oklahoma, Micaela Harrison Pittsburg, Kansas, Dillion Harrison (Brittany) of Rover, Arkansas; thirteen great-grandchildren; one special aunt Jenny Phiefer of Farmersville, Texas; one uncle Freeman Jordan (Barbra) of Malvern, Arkansas; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Friday, February 28, 2025 at 2:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Burial will be held at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock at a later date.
