Marvin Eugene Wisdom, age 75, of Edgemont (Prim), Arkansas departed this life on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born June 25, 1949, in Independence County, Arkansas to John Cornelius “JC” Wisdom and Pauline Jewel “Iva” Ring-Wisdom.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers John and Andrew; and one son Austin Wisdom. Marvin loved music. He loved to play his guitar, and he loved to write his own lyrics. He also had a growing collection of guitars in his home. He spent several years on the road, driving a truck for a living. He casually attended church near his home in Prim, Arkansas.
Survivors include: two sisters Rachel Sedlacek and Hazel Grubb, both of Shelton, WA; three daughters Jennifer McSparren-Phillips of Melbourne, AR; daughter Francis of WA; Angela Estes of Marshall, AR; one step-daughter Stephanie Geiger of Jacksonville, AR; two sons Marvin Wisdom of Shelton, WA; Paul Wisdom of Marshall, AR; 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of many more family and friends.
The memorial date will be scheduled for a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes any donations to help pay for arrangement expenses.
