Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Polly Ruth Madison, age 67

Polly Ruth Madison, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2024. She was born on January 1, 195 to her loving parents, Watson and Constance Madison of Benton, Arkansas. Her arrival brought immense joy to her family, and she was proudly recognized as the first baby born in Saline County that year – a story often shared with pride.

Polly was a proud graduate of Benton High School, Class of 1977. She was known for her kind, caring, and humorous personality, touching the lives of many with her warmth and generosity. Her love for cooking traditional Southern cuisine brought comfort to family and friends, and she had a passion for travel. Above all, she found joy in dressing up in her Sunday best and wearing her favorite designer perfumes. Music also held a special place in her heart, particularly the Blues and old-time Gospel hymns, which never failed to bring a smile to her face.

God called Polly home without warning, leaving our hearts heavy with sorrow but our souls strong in faith. She will be deeply missed but forever remembers by those who loved her.

She is survived by her two daughters, April and Tiffany Madison, both of Little Rock; her sister, Constella Bowman of Benton, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends and family.

Polly’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of life was held on February 1, 2025 for family and friends.
