Thomas Eugene Wages, age 72

Thomas Eugene Wages died on February 16, 2025, at his home in Sherwood, Arkansas, surrounded by his loving wife and 4 daughters. He was born on December 27, 1952, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Marion E. and Betty June Wages.

Thomas retired from Stemmerich Inc. after 37 years of service. Upon retiring, he met the love of his life, Jeanie Wages and moved from Louisville, KY to Sherwood, AR., where he would share many wonderful memories with his lake family at DeGray Lake in Arkadelphia, AR. Thomas also enjoyed sports of all kinds, including baseball, golf and fishing. Thomas was best known for his love of family and many friends, as well as his contagious smile and amazing sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his great granddaughter, Kadence Olivia Poore. Surviving in addition to his wife, Jeanie Wages, are his daughters Angela D. Wages of Dunedin, FL, Stacy Hamm and wife Cindy Farnsley of Louisville, KY, Misty Caudill of Mt. Juliet, TN, Tomi Smith of Mt. Juliet, TN, Nikki Thomas and her husband William of N Little Rock, AR and Mallory Thompson of N Little Rock, AR., ; Nine grandchildren, Shelby Hamm, Austin Poore (Lily), Savannah Smith (Stephen), Mattalyn Smith, Kendall Poore, Caleb Smith, Makenzie Nicholas, Blaine Thomas and Riley Garrison; three great grandchildren, Colton King, Josie Poore and Rosie King.

A Family-Hosted Celebration of Life will be held on March 15, 2025, at Iron Mountain Marina conference center in Arkadelphia.

    Still at a loss for words. Tommy Boy was the absolute best. Countless memories of how much fun he was and how he loved every one of you. He is now in a much better place. Until we see you again rest high Tommy Boy! Continued prayers we love you all.

    Tommy was a great person to be around. He loved to smile and make others laugh. My heart is saddened by his passing. I will remember him everyday . My condolences to the family with prayers sent your way for strength and healing.
