Dollie Jean Knall, 64, was born to Delmas Riggs and the late Betty Rigs on April 18, 1960 in Welch, West Virginia.
After finishing high school, Dollie went on to further her education, taking classes in law and also completing classes to become a nurse. This is where she would go on to spend the next 20 years caring for patients in need of help.
When she wasn’t working, Dollie enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and spending time with her family, friends and pets whom she cared for just like family.
Alongside her best friend, Avis Blackburn, the two sought out and founded “Project Home Sweet Home”; a plight for safe, decent, and affordable homes for people with low income.
Dollie leaves to cherish her memory her father Delmas Riggs of Mineral City, Ohio; husband Kenneth Knall Sr. of North Ridgeville, OH; son Kenneth (Jennifer) Knall II of Boliver, OH; son Justin (Debra) Knall of Alexander, AR; daughter Liz Tallao of Denton, TX; brother Jonathan Riggs of Akron, OH; and all of her beloved grandchildren Shane, Cayla, Keara, Isabella, Seth, Jack, Conner, and a great granddaughter Ariella. She also leaves her best friend Avis Blackburn of Youngstown, OH, and a host of other relative and friends.
Dollie was preceded in death by her mother Betty Riggs and longtime friend Kevin Filby.
