Lila Scott, age 81, of Mayflower, Arkansas passed away on March 20, 2025. She was born in Wooster, Arkansas on December 15, 1943 to James Samuel Ballew and Bertha Easter Meggs.
Lila is preceded in death by her parents; first husband John Franklin Stivers Sr.; second husband Russell Scott; brothers James Wendall Ballew, Benjamin Eugene Ballew, Sammy Ray Ballew, and Thomas Edwin Ballew; and two sons James Lee Stivers and Billy Lynn Stivers.
She is survived by two sons John Franklin Stivers Jr. (Cindy) and Michael Shane Stivers (Onna); grandchildren Chad, Jessica, James, Terra, Brian, Heather, Johnna, Jessica, and Shelby; 17 great-grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.
Lila attended Morgan Full Gospel Church for many years. She loved her church family, and she adore her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 1:00pm with funeral service starting at 2:00pm at Morgan Full Gospel Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Greenbrier, Arkansas.
