Mary T. Janish Habel
July 16, 1962 – March 14, 2025
Mary Habel, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away March 14, 2025, surrounded by family at the age of 62. She was born, raised and graduated in Burlington, Wisconsin.
In April 1988, she was united in marriage to Michael Habel. She resided in Burlington, WI until 1994 when they relocated to Sherwood, Arkansas where she worked at Blue Cross and then Kohl’s Department store. Mary enjoyed going on cruises, vacations and camping with family and friends. Most of all, time spent with her granddaughter, Olivia, who was very special to her.
Mary is survived by her husband Michael; children Brittney, Justin (Felecity), and Jessica Habel; sisters Janis (Bob) Dawley and Carol Fletchall; and several grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by parents William and Lorraine Janish; brothers Dennis and John Janish, Gary, Wayne, and Ronald Kolpack.
We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at UAMS for the excellent care they provided for Mary.

Mary was my sister in law for 24 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was always there for her family and friends. See you again Mary
