Tommie Lee Williams, age 82

Tommie Lee Williams, age 82, of North Little Rock, Arkansas died on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. He passed away peacefully at the Little Rock VA hospital surrounded by his family.

 Tommie was born in North Little Rock, the son of Tommy Washington Williams and Mary Bentley.

 Tommie graduated in 1960 from North Little Rock High School and joined the Army where he was stationed in Berlin during the construction of the Berlin Wall and served until honorably discharged in 1963. 

 In April of 1964, Tommie married Marjorie Harden in North Little Rock. They would have celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary this year and had 2 children, Randall Lee Williams of Franklin, TN and Misty Lynn Bona of North Little Rock. Tommie had 2 grandchildren, Madison Myers of North Little Rock and Jay Bona of Little Rock and one great grandchild Barrett Myers. 

 He worked for Texas International Airlines and Continental Airlines before returning to Arkansas where he worked for Arnold Blevins Electric for over 20 years before retiring in 2004. 

Tommie was an active member of Levy Church of Christ since 1972, save a 9 year detour in Ft Worth, Texas from 1975-1983 while he was working for the airlines.

 Tommie especially loved anything old and collectible, but especially old cars, and especially Corvettes.

 Preceding Tommie in death are his father Tommy Washington Williams, his mother Mary Electra Bentley, his brother Jerry Williams, and his sister Lattie Ramsey

 Memorial donations in Tommie’s memory may be directed to Southern Christian Children’s Home in Morrilton, Arkansas.
