Donald “Don” Richard Chapman, 82, of Scott, Arkansas, entered his heavenly reward on April 1, 2025. Born on May 30, 1942, in Scott, Arkansas to parents, Beulah and Robert Chapman, Don dedicated his life to God, raising his children and supporting his family.
Don was incredibly hard working and kind. He dedicated 52 years of his life to farming participating in the American Tractorcades in Washington DC in 1979 and his family was named Farm Family of the Year in 1979. Don also took part in filming a documentary with his brothers on small town farming in Arkansas. Don never met a stranger and seemed to know someone everywhere he went. For the past seven years, he had his favorite child, Scout (his canine companion), at his side. Where you saw one, you saw the other. He always said he never wanted a dog, but once he saw Scout, he knew he had a partner for life.
Don is survived by his wife of 31 years, Terresa Chapman; his son Jeff (Kay), daughters Traci Squires, Beth (Greg) Still, Rachel Chapman, Rebecca Chapman and Ty (Frank) Weiand and Cathy Drollinger (David); his sister Kathleen Adams; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
He is predeceased by his siblings Bobby (Lillian) Chapman, Emmett (Ramonia) Chapman, Carl (Paulette) Chapman, Wendell Chapman, Odis Chapman and Dorothy (Billy) Moore as well as brother-in-law KO Adams.
Don will be greatly missed by all his loved ones. His kindness and love will forever live in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in eternal peace knowing that he was cherished by many.
A celebration of his life will take place at the Church at Willow Beach Monday, April 7th from 6pm-8pm. The family invites all who knew him to remember the impact he made on their lives.

Sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed our time with Don. He was a good Christian man & Im sure will be missed by many.
Prayers for the family. God bless his children.
Don was one of the first people we met after moving here in 1987. He has been a blessed friend to us all of these years. He was a kind and giving person and would help anyone. We became neighbors with his sweet sister Dorothy and became friends with other family members over the years. We are so sorry for your loss. He will definitely be missed.
Praying for the family. I have many fond memories of the Chapmans during our many years at Highway Baptist.
