Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

James Robert Rowe, age 79

James Robert Rowe, age 79, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025.

Born and raised in Bee Branch, Arkansas, James carried with him a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the simple joys of life. He worked for many years as a skilled tool and die maker, earning the respect of his peers before retiring.

An avid outdoorsman, James had a lifelong passion for hunting and fishing, especially deer and turkey. He cherished time spent in nature, and even more so when it was shared with family and friends. Whether it was swapping stories at his hunting cabin or teaching his grandchildren how to cast a line, James created memories that will live on for generations.

James is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Rowe; his daughters, Nancy Cummings and Lisa Woodell; his sons, James “Bimbo” Rowe, Anthony Rowe, and Kevin Rowe; his sister, Terry Wright; and his brother, Wayne Rowe. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each a part of the legacy he held dear.

He will be remembered for his steady presence, generous spirit, and the deep love he had for his family and the land he called home.

A memorial service to celebrate James’s life will be held April 15. Visitation will be held at 10:00am and the funeral will follow at 11:00am at Faith Freewill Bible Church in Little Rock.  Graveside service will be held at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock immediately following the services.
