Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Jimmy Wayne Pitchford Jr., age 52

Jimmy Wayne Pitchford Jr., Cabot, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on April 12th, 2025, with his loved ones by his side. He was born on September 12, 1972, in Denver, Colorado to Jim Pitchford and Janice Tabor. He spent his formative years between the United States and Germany, before moving home to Cabot, Arkansas, where he met the love of his life, Kimberley Pitchford.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy H. and Donna L. Pitchford and Edwin and Juanita Hinman, mother Janice Kay Tabor- Hinman, and mother in law Mary L. Brown. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Kimberley Kay Pitchford, father Jimmy Wayne Pitchford Sr., step-mother Donna S Pitchford, brothers Jerry D Pitchford and Ricky A Burt, sisters Julie A Carlton, Sheila A. Brown, and Rebecca R. Brown, his children Susan Elizabeth Chaney (Pitchford), and Jarrett Logan Pitchford, and grand-children Michael P. O’Connor, Savannah K. O’Connor, and Oaklynn G. Pitchford.

Jimmy had a laugh that could lift your spirits, a heart big enough for everyone he met, and a strength that quietly carried through even the hardest of days. He was strong and resilient- the kind of strength that didn’t need to be loud to be felt. He taught us how to keep going, to stay positive, and to give life everything you’ve got, no matter what came your way.

Jimmy found joy in the simple things- a good hand of cards, the peace of a quiet lake, or time spent fishing or hunting with those he loved. He was a scuba diver, a gardener with a true gift for growing beautiful flowers and plants, and a friend to so many.

Jimmy especially loved his family and devoted his life to his role as “Pop Pop” to his grandchildren. You could see the pride in his eyes when he talked about them, the joy in his voice when he laughed with them. His family was his heart and he was theirs.

Jimmy showed us that life is not about perfection — it’s about passion, about connection, about laughter and strength. About sitting around a table with the people you love, playing cards, telling stories, and making each other smile. He gave his all, and in doing so, he gave us memories and love that will never fade.

We’ll miss him deeply. We’ll miss his smile, his warmth, his humor, and his wisdom. But we carry him with us — in the strength he taught us, in the laughter he gave us, and in the love he left behind.

We rest easy knowing Jimmy is in Heaven, free from pain, casting a line with his loved ones.

Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 10:00am in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
