I am sorry for the family’s loss. I remember meeting her a few times and she was always very warm and caring. I’m sorry our families weren’t closer.

I only had a handful of teachers that were impactful. Mrs. Norma Long was one of them. She truly cared about her students and ensured we were learning in her classroom. And 40 years later, I am still very grateful for her love, patience and instructional guidance. Mrs Norma Staggs Long thank you again and may you rest peacefully in Gods Loving arms.

My heartfelt condolences to family and friends. ❤️

I am so sorry for your loss, She had been there for me so many times when I was a child… giving me food… paying for me to do activities in church….taking up for me….giving me hugs…telling me to be strong…. And sometimes fussing at me to be better…..
Nothing will take away what an impact that leaves on a child.

I have amazing memories of times with Norma and Eddie with our church youth group. You have both touched many lives. I still have a Christmas ornament from long ago that I cherish from Norma. I will hold onto the great memories while holding you all close in my heart and my prayers.

She was one of the absolute best teachers I ever had. I loved her and she loved me back. She did everything she could to get me through 6th grade. I would still see her randomly at the grocery store over the years and she still remembered me and loved me and would give me the biggest hug ever every time I would see her.
