David Arrowsmith, age 80

David Arrowsmith passed away on April 2, 2025. Born on December 22, 1944, in Bloomington, Illinois. He lived a fulfilling life, characterized by his dedication to family, faith, and work.

David was married to his beloved wife, Phyllis, for 61 years. Together, they raised a loving family, including their son, Jeff (Alex); daughters, Jodi (Joe), Jeanette (Dave), sons Stephen (Kelly), and Rainey (Gloria); and were cherished by their grandchildren: Shannon, Rocky, Madison, and Grace, as well as five great-grandchildren.

A truck driver for over 40 years, David spent much of his life on the road, but he always made time for the things he loved. He was an active member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church since 2007, where he found great joy. Outside of work and church, David had a passion for gardening, always tending to his plants with care. He also enjoyed trips to the flea market, where he could spend hours exploring treasures. David’s family and friends will remember him for his hard work, generosity, and the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
