Lou grew up in a large family. As he came of age he traveled with carnivals all over the U.S. He met and married the love of his wife Robin in 1975, and later gave his life to the Lord. He was self-employed for many years in the antique and flea market business. He also loved serve in his church by raising money through auctions. In all the years of antiquing and flea markets he became known as “Lou the Jew” because he loved to jew people down. In his earlier years he was pretty rough and had a reputation, but when the Lord came into his life he was a completely different person. He always spoke very highly of his wife and his unconditional love for her. He would do anything for his family or a stranger. He liked to fish, watch his kids and grandkids play sports, boxing, and watching Razorback football. He was very involved in and loved to help out at his church. His legacy will live on through his family and friends. He is very much loved and will be deeply missed.

Wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother and human being. Love you brother. Until we meet again. ( don’t catch all the fish!)
I worked for Lou with the Arkansas Gazette when I was 14. He was my first boss. He was understanding and great to work with. I remember eating pizza with him at Big Banjo and he was the first person I ever met who only ate the toppings and not the crust.
