Raymond Lloyd DeWhitt, age 76, passed away on May 13, 2025 in McCrory, Arkansas. He was born in Weiner, Arkansas on October 25, 1948 to the late R.A. and Lady Ruth Parrish DeWhitt.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Glenda Johnson, and son Mark DeWhitt.
He is survived by his sister Nancy Carter of Judsonia; two sons: Ravis DeWhitt of Lake City and Keith DeWhitt of Little Rock; nine grandchildren: Decoda DeWhitt, Cody DeWhitt, Dustin DeWhitt, Travis DeWhitt, Johnathan DeWhitt, Tristen DeWhitt, Tiffany DeWhitt, Terra Woods, and Harley DeWhitt; twelve great-grandchildren; nephew Bryan Carter; niece Casey Charlebois . He also leaves behind many cousins, other family members, and friends.
Raymond was a truck driver for many years. He enjoyed being around animals, participating in rodeo barrel racing, and searching for arrowheads.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
