On the evening of May 15, 2025, Rondel Sturgeon passed away peacefully due to natural causes at Cabot Nursing and Rehab Center in Cabot, AR. Rondel was 61 years old.
Rondel was born in Conway, AR to Jessie Burns and Rondel W. Sturgeon in April 1964. A few years later, he was adopted by Floyd Sturgeon and Carolyn Cooper-Sturgeon.
Rondel was one of the most caring people you could ever know. He had a heart of gold and always put others before himself. He loved spending time with family and friends, and any pet he came across. Everyone who knew him knew he was a huge Elvis Presley fan. He enjoyed impersonating him and was very good at it; he brought many smiles and laughs while doing so.
Rondel is survived by his daughter Jenny Henke, brother Keith Sturgeon, sisters Crystal Kurtz and Diane Martin, nephews Kyle Sturgeon, Bryce and Rohan Kurtz, niece Alexis Marcotte and longtime friend Diane Richardson.
A public memorial service will be held at A Natural State Funeral Service, on Friday May 23rd at 1:00 p.m., located at 2620 W Main St, Jacksonville, AR 72076.

He was my brother and on our mother’s side he had 8 nieces and nephews and a great niece . He was always a loving person and yes loved Elvis . Brother you are with Jesus mom and your dad and step mom . Thankful for the times we had . Rest in peace bubba we love you
