Waylon Michael Ratican, of Austin, Arkansas gained his wings on May 17, 2025 at the age of 1. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on December 3, 2023 to his parents Michael Anthony Ratican and Meagan Justine Lovell.
Waylon is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Leonard Michael Ratican III; uncle Steven “Stevo” Rohr Jr.; maternal grandfather Randy “Papa” Lovell Jr.; and aunt Regina Kathleen Hall.
He is survived by his mother Meagan Lovell; father Michael Ratican; brother Carter Wayne Moody; sisters Ava-Lynn Marie Ratican and Paisley Grace Ratican; paternal grandmother Kellye Lynn Rohr; maternal grandmother Laura “WaWa” Lovell; aunts and uncles Jessica (Josh) Helton, James Lovell, Arron Lovell, Michelle (Robert) Casto, Matt (Lisa) Lovell, Mark (Debbie) Lovell; cousins Link Lovell, Shelbie Helton, Randie Helton, Oaklie Helton; and Godfather Brandon Garringer.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 10:00am with funeral service starting at 10:30am in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Carlisle Cemetery located on AR-13 in Carlisle, Arkansas.
