William “Bill” Leonard Carnahan, age 74

William “Bill” Leonard Carnahan passed away peacefully on June 4th at the Central Arkansas Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas

William was born on August 9, 1950 in Oak Grove, Louisiana. He served in the United States Air Force for 22 years. He continued his service at the McClelland VA hospital after his honorable discharge.

Bill is survived by his wife of 54 years, Deborah Ann Carnahan. He leaves behind his children, David Lynn and Timothy Eugene Carnahan. He will be missed greatly by his brother Micheal Carnahan and his wife Jeri, and sisters Sue Girouard husband Elmo, Phillis Hale husband Level and Janice Voigt husband Jerry and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Pearline Carnahan and a sister Dora Jean Seamans.

Visitation will begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday, June 10th with a celebration of his life beginning at 2:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arkansas State Veterans Home, 2401 John Ashley Drive, North Little Rock, AR. 72114

    Bill was an asset to the DAV. He helped me several times in communicating with the VA. I will miss him. Rest in peace my friend.
