Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Brenda Sue Teague-Fay, 70

Brenda Sue Teague-Fay, 70, of Little Rock, passed away on June 16, 2025.

Brenda was born on March 19, 1955, in Houston, Texas, to Dean and Mary Frances Teague and was raised in Little Rock. A devoted Christian, Brenda lived a life marked by warmth, devotion to family, and an unshakable sense of tradition.

She was a homemaker and the owner/operator of Brenda’s Cleaning Service in Central Arkansas. Known for her green thumb, Brenda was an avid gardener who delighted in every step of the process—from planting seeds to nurturing full blooms. Her ferns held a special place in her heart.

Brenda also loved going to the movies, especially Disney films. Of all the joys in her life, becoming a great-grandmother brought her the greatest excitement.

The holidays were her favorite time of year. Brenda never missed a Black Friday, particularly in the 1990s and early 2000s, when she insisted on braving the crowds in person. She cherished the tradition of a real Christmas tree and began a lasting custom with her granddaughter: taking a photo with Santa each year. That tradition will now continue with her great-granddaughter.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Mitch Baker.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Glenn) Porter of Bryant and Ray (Lee) Christian of Benton; her granddaughter, Fallon (Drew) Alpe; and her great-granddaughter, Harlow, all of Little Rock. She also leaves behind her siblings, Peggy (George) Brenner, Larry Teague, and Lorretta (Paul) Matthews.

The Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, at Landmark Baptist Church in Little Rock, with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend and celebrate Brenda’s life.
