Donald “Don” Nesemann, age 77

Donald “Don” Nesemann, age 77, of Vilonia, Arkansas passed away on May 30, 2025. Don was born in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin on September 22nd 1947.

Don graduated from Baraboo High School. After high school, he enrolled in the Air Force and then to Vietnam where he was in the K-9 Division. He met his wife, Rosemary, in Little Rock, Arkansas when he was transferred to Jacksonville Air Force Base. He left the Air Force and married his wife, Rosemary. They moved to Wisconsin where he was a police officer in Dane, Wisconsin. They moved back to Arkansas where they ran a transport company named Yellow Thunder Transportation. They moved to Salem, Oregon, and that is where Don was diagnosed with Agent Orange. He moved back to Arkansas where he lived until he passed away. He loved his family and food. Don loved to go camping and just be outside spending time with his family, playing games.

Don was preceded in death by his father and mother Ted and Jan Nesemann of Baraboo, Wisconsin and grandson Virgal of Greenbrier, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife Rosemary of Arkansas, one brother Tim (Sharon) Nesemann of Wisconsin, 5 children Lance of Oregon, Deborah of Arkansas, Jeff (Corinea) of Oregon, Pam of Arkansas, and Chris of Arkansas, and 5 grandchildren Alexis (Drew), Jesse (Britt), Kowa, Logan, and Natalie, great grandchildren Tobbi, Syles, and one on the way, along with a host of extended family and friends.
