Genelle Marie Smith, age 56

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Genelle Marie Smith, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She passed peacefully on June 8, 2025, surrounded by family-just as she lived-wrapped in love.

Born in Jacksonville on July 17, 1968, Genelle was the heart of her family and a steady source of strength for all who knew her. Her love was unwavering, her laughter contagious, and her kindness boundless. Whether offering a warm meal, wise advice, or a comforting presence, she gave of herself freely and with a faithful heart.

Genelle is preceded in death by her father, George Gage. She is survived by her son, Michael; her loving partner, Tommy Hutchison and his children, Shane (Michelle) & Tara (Charlie); her mother, Patricia; her brother, John (Tricia); her aunts, Shirley and Diane; and her cousins, Kimberly, Steven, and Jeff (Mandy).

Her legacy of love, resilience, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all she touched.

May she rest in Eternal peace.

Family-hosted Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:00am at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church located at 163 Mt. Carmel Rd., Cabot, Arkansas 72023.

    Genelle passed way too young but she had a long difficult struggle with cancer. She is now at peace but gone too soon and we will missher
