On June 1, 2025, Harold Q Campbell “Shorty”, age 86 of Jacksonville, Florida passed away. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Maria Jimenez Campbell of Rota, Spain. Shorty enjoyed camping, fishing, looking for crystals and dancing to the oldies. He is survived by children, Cheryl Thornton, Susan Clark, and Donnie Penn. Grandchildren, Shannon Martinez, Mikie Howell, Shawn Thornton, Brandy Bishop, and Donnie Howell. Great grands Donnie, John, Lexie, Erick, Lecia and Brooklyn.
He was stationed here at the LR Air Force base and worked on the RB-57 aircraft.
Grampa will be missed terribly but we take comfort in knowing he is finally at rest with Nene.
