Martha Leticia Moreno-Clark
May 22, 1958 – June 16, 2025
Martha Leticia Moreno-Clark, born May 22, 1958, in El Paso, Texas, to Gilberto and Guadalupe Moreno, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. One of eight siblings, Martha was a devoted daughter, sister, and mother whose life was defined by strength, perseverance, and deep love.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Joe and Charlie, and by her daughter Paula Clark, who was born with a terminal illness and passed in 2020. Martha dedicated much of her life to Paula’s care, embodying fierce loyalty and dedication.
She is survived by her daughter, Catherine Prowse, who carries forward her mother’s spirit and resilience. Together with Paula, they were the “Three Musketeers”—a close-knit trio who faced the world hand in hand. Through every joy and every storm, they stood united, bound by a love that endures beyond this life.
Martha is also survived by her siblings Gilbert, George, Hector, Rosa, and Isabelle, as well as extended family and friends who will remember her vibrant spirit. While strong-willed (albeit sometimes stubborn), Martha knew how to have fun and never missed a chance to enjoy good music and a good time. A true fashionista at heart, she had a natural flair for design and beauty, which she expressed in everything from her wardrobe to her ever changing home décor. Above all, she is remembered for the steadfast love she had for those closest to her.
Her legacy is one of maternal strength, endurance through hardship, and the unbreakable bond she shared with her daughters. Per her wishes, no formal service will be held. The family asks that those who knew and loved her honor her memory by remembering the many ways she showed up—day after day—with quiet resolve and tireless care.
As Martha often said, “Where there is a will, there is a way.”

My little sister loved to love and she loved to be loved.
She loved to laugh, oh, how she loved to laugh.
Go in peace, little sis. Maybe we’ll meet up again someday. I love you.
Catherine, I’m so sorry for your loss. I know your mom must have been extremely proud of you and appreciated your help in caring for her. She will surely be missed by all who knew and loved her. Prayers for comfort and peace as you navigate the days ahead.
I am Property Manager where Martha lived. I met her for the first time during an Inspection. She made me feel welcomed. Although she was in pain and could bearly stand she wanted to make sure I had the information I needed to do my job. When Catherine called me and gave me the new I was heartbroken. I will miss my new found friend.
My dear and beautiful sister. I will miss you greatly. Thank you for all the wonderful memories throughout our childhood and adulthood. I will always love you and keep you close to my heart. Thank for the advice you once gave, ” Never give up brother, no matter how hard the situation gets, never give up”. No have no idea how that piece of advice has kept me going all these years. I LOVE MY BEAUTIFUL SISTER. You will always be in my heart.
Martha will be missed by many. Even though I did not know her well, what I did know, she raised two beautiful daughters and were the loves of her life. She loved her family, was a very strong woman. I was very sad to hear of her passing. God bless her friends and family, I do pray for strength and comfort as you all mourn your her loss.
