Michael (Mike) Leon Hill, age 75 of Sardis passed away on Tuesday June 24th, 2025. Mike was born September 14, 1949 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father Charles W. Hill, mother Elsie Hill, son Michael Hill Jr, sister Martha Akers, and brother Johnny C. Hill.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of 53 years; two sons: Charles (Crystal) of Benton and Johnny (Jillian) of Sardis; daughter Michelle Brown (Harold) of Little Rock; Eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sister Linda Wood (Wayne) of Lake City and brother Charles F. Hill of Jonesboro. Along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mike was known for his servant’s heart. He volunteered to take care of the yards of both churches he attended Faith Freewill Bible Church and First Freewill Baptist Church of Benton. His care extended further into his work with AA, where he spent his 13 years of sobriety sponsoring other men. All who met him knew that he would be quick to lend a helping hand. Mike never met a stranger, always happy to spend his time chatting and flirting with anyone he came across. He loved to laugh and bring laughter to the lives of those around him, whether it be from telling a simple joke or singing them his own special version of Happy Birthday. Mike brought laughter and joy to many lives and will be missed dearly by all that knew him.

The visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Freewill Bible Church 107 Wints Dr, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206.
