Orville Perkins, Jr

March 27, 1968 – June 13, 2025 (age 57)

Orville Perkins Jr passed away Friday June 13, 2025, at his residence in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was born March 27, 1968, in Campton, Ky. Son of the late Orville D. Perkins and Maggie Gamble Perkins.

Orville Jr spent most of his working days at Tommy’s Market in West Liberty, Ky. In his free time you could always find him mowing the yard and if you knew Jr you knew he took great pride in this, playing card games or watching a UK basketball game with a cold Ale 8 in his hand. After retiring he relocated to Little Rock, Arkansas where he spent the remainder of his life with his companion Melissa. Although he moved from KY he remained one of UK’s biggest fans.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Maggie Perkins and one nephew Timothy Lykins.

He is survived by his companion Melissa Casada, 1 brother, David Mark Perkins (Patty) West Liberty, 2 sisters Beverly Lykins (Tim) and Christine Perkins (Mike) both of West Liberty. 12 nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
