Charles James “Junior” Tackett, Jr., 59, of East End, Arkansas, passed away July 8, 2025. He was born January 19, 1966 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Charles J. Tackett Sr. and Marilyn (Ashley) Tackett. 

Charles was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. Charles beat cancer, and refused to let leg amputation slow him down. He had many 

friends and he was a good and loyal friend to have. 

Charles is preceded in death by father Charles J. Tackett, Sr., as well as his grandparents John and Alene Ashley. 

Charles is survived by his mother Marilyn Tackett, daughters Megan Tackett and Brittany (Billy) Sullivan, grandson Brantley Crutchfield, three sisters Teresa Bamford, Kristi Key, and Jennifer Bryan. He is survived by his three nephews Travis (Misty) Bamford, Dewey Bibb, Jordan Key, three nieces Lora Bibb, Jamie Bibb, Katie Bryan, and a great niece Kennedi Bamford. Charles 

leaves behind many friends that will miss him dearly, as well. 

Visitation will be Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Salem Cemetery, in East End at 2:00pm, followed by a graveside service at 3:00pm. 

Pallbearers are Jordan Key, Eric Smithson, Renee Cash, Deno Campbell, Cody Mabry, and Tyler Thomas. 

Honorary Pallbearers are Charlie French, Bobby Gresham, and Henry Tackett, J.R.
