Connie Vaughan took her last breath at home, surrounded by her loving family, on July 10, 2025. Born on July 26, 1943, in Prattsville, Arkansas, Connie was the daughter of Horace and Iva (Holiman) Hull.
On August 17, 1962, Connie married the love of her life, Daniel Vaughan. They shared 59 beautiful years of marriage before his passing in 2021.
Connie is survived by her four children: Richard (Theresa) Vaughan, Lenord (Cathy) Vaughan, Joy (Terry) Griffin, and Linda (Steve) Lowery — all of Beebe, Arkansas. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, with another on the way. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Loise Cosbey and Donnie Cosby of Alabama, and Ersel Hull of Poyen, Arkansas, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Daniel; her son, Christopher Paul Vaughan; her four sisters, Marie Fox, Erma Odam, Louanna Hollinger, and Bonnie Hull; and her brother, John Henry Hull.
In 1976, Connie and Daniel moved to the Beebe area from Prattsville. She became a familiar and friendly face to many in the community, working for years at Beebe’s hometown restaurant, the College Inn Café, where she made many lasting friendships. Later, she worked as the deli manager at Knight’s Grocery in Beebe, and eventually at Price Cutter in Cabot, where she retired.
Connie had a deep love for cooking and was well-known for her delicious chicken and dressing. She found joy in serving others and gathering her family and friends around the table. Her warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Connie is now at peace, no longer in pain, and reunited with her beloved Daniel. Her memory and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 6:00-8:00pm at Beebe First Christian Church. Funeral Service will follow on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 10:00am at Beebe First Christian Church located at 205 West Georgia Street, Beebe, Arkansas.
