Donavon “Don” Gary Branham
1944-2025
Don Branham, 80, of Little Rock, peacefully departed this life at his home on July 17, 2025. Don was born on November 10, 1944, in Gillett, Arkansas, to Victor and Gladys (McKinney) Branham.
He grew up as one of fourteen children, sharing his childhood with six sisters and seven brothers. Don shared an unbreakable bond with 62 years of marriage to his wife, Joyce Lucille (Shank) Branham. Their enduring love was a cornerstone of his life. He was a dedicated father to his two sons, Donavan Wade Branham (Rhea) and Shon Paul Branham (Shannon), and his legacy continues through his seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, each a source of immense pride and happiness.
Don honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Professionally, he turned his passion into a lifelong career, excelling in construction, painting, and remodeling residential and commercial properties. His skill and dedication were evident in every project he undertook until his well-earned retirement at 67.
In keeping with his wishes, Don was cremated, and there will be no public memorial services. He found comfort and peace knowing his closest loved ones were by his side until the very end.

Uncle Donnie was one of my favorite uncles to be around. When I was a child, he would make it a point to come over to Grandmas house when we came to visit in Gillette, Ar. I want to send my condolences and prayers to Wade and Shon on the loss of their dad.
