
George Robert Echols, age 61, of El Dorado, Arkansas passed away on July 3, 2025. He was born in Bernice, Louisiana on March 17, 1964 to Bonnie Echols and Rowena Ellington Echols.
George is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Judy Albritton, Johnny Echols, and Gladys Echols Bullard, and granddaughter Madisyn “Maddie” Echols.
He leaves behind his son George Micheal Echols; stepdaughter Nicole Dodgens; granddaughters Lauren Echols and Karlee Echols; 8 brothers and sisters Barbra Potts of Ruston, LA, Wayne Echols of Springhill, LA, Jackie Helms of El Dorado, AR, Debra Hodges of Sarepta, LA, Shine Echols (Brenda) of Marion, LA, Sandra Cummings (Terry) of Alma, AR, Donna Taylor (Colby) of Junction City, AR, and Steven Echols (Donna) of Rum Center, AR. He was loved by many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
George was well known by educated abilities in mechanical work and gifted in carpentry work.

We grew up together in Rum Center. We had allot of fun times. I know your family will miss you. May you RIP my friend. You will always be remembered. Thanks for the childhood memories we made.

I was 16 when he was born. So.really mom had other kids and lots to. do. George was my baby.
