Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Judith Lee Miller, 86, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on July 17, 2025. She was born in Winters, Texas to the late Elma Riley Sullivan and Mary Virginia Wallace-Sullivan. Judith was also preceded in death by her husband, Jan Roy Miller, and her daughter Tena Marie Caple.

Judith is remembered as being a doting mother and grandmother. Her family was the most important part of her life. She was a talented seamstress and often sewed for her daughters and did mending or altering clothes for them or family members whenever needed.

Judith was proud of her home and stayed up to date with the latest trends in design. Her home was always comfortable and welcoming to her friends and those of her children. Judith had a way of making each person feel like family and her hospitality made everyone feel like they were special to her.

Judith retired from the UALR Office of Communications as an administrative specialist. Judith also had a number of hobbies that she pursued throughout the years. She had a wonderful green thumb and always had beautiful house plants. She always enjoyed crocheting, but was always able to learn and perfect whatever the latest craft craze was including macrame and cross stitch. Before Jan passed away, he and Judith were members of the Goldwing Riders Association and enjoyed traveling across the country on their Goldwing.

Judith is survived by her sister, Mary Margaret Lee, her daughter, Sherri Phillips; her grandchildren: Cory Faulkner (Shayna), Heather Faulkner, Hannah Phillips, Olivia Phillips, Brigette Duncan (Will), Callie Gill (Matt) and Preston Caple (Linley); her great grandchildren: Colin Faulkner, Lilly Phillips, Myles Freeman, Annie Bird Smith, Perri Duncan, Delta Gill, Navie Gill, Fisher Caple, Parker Caple and another one on the way. Judith will be missed dearly by those who knew her.
