Kevin Ray Pruitt, beloved father, grandfather, son, and friend, passed away peacefully in Conway, Arkansas on July 19th, 2025, at the age of 62 years. Born on August 23, 1962, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kevin brought warmth, laughter, and wisdom into the lives of all who knew him.
Kevin lived a life full of strength, integrity, courage and compassion. He was a man of principle, guided by his love for his family and his deep-rooted values. To those around him, Kevin was a source of steady strength and gentle encouragement—always willing to listen, lend a hand, or offer a word of truth, even when it was hard to hear.
He had a sharp wit, a deep love for music and storytelling, and a talent for making the ordinary moments feel sacred. Whether it was through a conversation on the porch, a shared meal, or his unwavering presence in times of need, Kevin made people feel seen and loved.
Above all, Kevin was a devoted father and grandfather. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and faith that will continue to live on through them.
Kevin’s absence leaves a space no one else can fill, but we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace. His spirit will live on in the memories we hold, the stories we share, and the values he instilled in us.
He is survived by his son and daughter Troy Kevin Pruitt, Jenna Rae Pruitt; his grandchildren Sunny R. Peters, Noble D. Nash, Ivy R. Nash, Ty Chamel; his siblings Wayne Pruitt, Debbie Pruitt, Mark Pruitt, Mike Pruitt; along with a host of his nieces nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father Troy and Patsy Pruitt, and grandparents Ivey and Opal Pruitt, Mack and Mandy Spencer.
A family-hosted service to celebrate Kevin’s life will be held on Saturday, August 16th at Kings River, 190 CR 539, Eureka Springs, AR 72632. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and honor the life of a man who meant so much to so many. I made some good memories on this river with my dad. Will plan on taking float in the morning by 11am and celebrate with a bonfire that evening.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to http://spot.fund/fkt9qq4si , in Kevin’s memory. Also I would love for others to share any memories and pictures they have of my father, Kevin Pruitt.
