Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Barbara Anne Mahoney, 70, of Cabot, Arkansas, went peacefully to her Heavenly home on August 10, 2025, surrounded by her family. Barbara was born on May 21, 1955, in Carlisle, Arkansas, to James and Darlene Wilson.

Barbara married her high school sweetheart, Roger Mahoney, in 1972. Together they raised three children in a loving home built on faith, laughter, and devotion. She was an active member of Marshall Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville.  She was a valued Certified Public Manager at the Arkansas State Bank Department and retired after 31 years of dedicated service.

Barbara loved to travel, bake holiday meals, play Bluegrass music, spend time with her daughters and grandchildren, and spoil her Chihuahua.  She will forever be remembered for her unwavering love, faithfulness to God, and unending devotion to her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Roger Mahoney; her children, Stephanie Renee Tindall, Carol Moore (Clint), and Juanita Watson (Bo); seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Jamie Mahoney, Sandra Norman, Jerry Wilson, and Tammy Roble. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Darlene Wilson.

A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Marshall Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
