Boyd Eugene Black, age 61, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on August 24, 2025. He was born in North Little Rock, Arkansas on March 30, 1964 to Earnest Eugene Black and Helen J. Wells-Black.
Boyd is preceded in death by his father, his sister Becky Wells, and his wife Ruth Black.
He is survived by his mother Helen J. Stroud (Raymond); three sons William Black (Whitney), Michael Black (Amber), and Thomas Black; four grandchildren Jarett Black, Jase Black, Dakota Black, and Hayden Black; his former wife Michele Graves Black; along with a host of extended family and friends.
Boyd enjoyed dirt track racing, fishing, and working on cars. He was very close with friends and family, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

We are deeply saddened by Boyd’s passing. He was not only our mechanic but became a good friend. Thomas and Boyd were a duo… if one was there the other was close by. We are here for you Thomas! If you need anything call me!

Man I have been there for his son and it’s gonna suck to see this happen and some time till this day I still cry about it man it’s just sad to me and no matter what happen I will always be there for his son and him I always help his son in school and got him to pass and every weekend I was with them at the track and I have always told them they need any help I told them I’m always a call away and not just that I have always told boys that no matter what is going on u need help I’m right around the Conner I would take off work to just help him and his son that’s how much they meant to me just always remember up there boys ima be here for you and your son and ima watch over your son man and I will always help Michael with the car u build and race just wanted to say this boys love ya and love ya Tommy and love the rest of the family
