
Carol S. Orr born August 13, 1961 in Lufkin, TX to Preston Skelton and Janice Gill and died August 21, 2025 in Baptist Hospital, Little Rock. She was “an honest accountant”, a title bequeathed upon her by her younger brother. Carol was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University, Nacogdoches, TX and Henderson State University, Arkadelphia.
Survivors include her husband Michael Orr, her mother Janice Gill, Lufkin, TX; brothers Michael Skelton (Lufkin, TX), Gene Dorsett (Lori), Lufkin, TX; Glenn Skelton (Cecile) Mussel Shoals, AL; sister, Terri Young (Chuck), Beaumont, TX ; step-sons Lex Orr (Heather) Lexington Park, MD; Nicholas Orr (Amy) Richlands, NC; nephews Jessie Young, Trey & Tanner Dorsett; nieces Sara Battles (Brett); Hayley Parks (Robby); grandchildren Matthew (Kali), Koryn, Alex, Cash, Haylee, and Coston Orr.
She was preceded in death by her father, Preston Carroll Skelton.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, August 31, 2025, 2:00pm, in Quapaw Quarter United Methodist Church, 1601 S. Louisiana, Little Rock, AR. Memorials may be made to Martha’s Door QQUMC, Execution Intervention Project (google on-line), No-Kill Animal Shelter of choice.

Carol will be missed by so many. She was such a good person – so warm and genuine.
