Kevin Barnett, beloved son, father, grandfather, friend and artist, passed away peacefully from cancer on August 16th, 2025. He was born in San Bernardino on October 19th, 1970.
Kevin is survived by his mother Sandy Barnett daughters Ashely and Kelsey Barnett, his son Waylon Barnett, grandson Cashtyn and granddaughter Chloe.
Kevin was a man whose heart was as big as his smile. He found joy in gathering people together, making memories, and ensuring that everyone around him felt cared for. He looked out for everyone before himself, always making sure others were okay even through his battle with cancer, he never once complained and never gave up. His strength and kindness inspired us all.
A proud father to his two daughters and son, Kevin’s love for his children was endless. He was also a cherished son to his mother, who stood by his side every step of his life as well as his girlfriend Gina. His circle of friends was wide and deep, a testament to the way he touched lives wherever he went. If you knew him, you knew Kevin was a rockstar. In every sense of the word. His art, much like his presence, was vibrant, bold, and unforgettable.
Those who knew Kevin will remember him for his generosity, his laughter, his creativity, and the light he brought into every room. His legacy lives on through his family, his art, and the countless lives he brightened just by being himself. He lived fully, he loved deeply, and he will be forever missed.

I am so saddened by Kevin’s passing, he was truly such an amazing man with nothing but friends that loved him, Never not once did I ever hear a cross word about Kevin and that’s because he was sweet, kind, loving and real! He was a brilliant artist with so much talent and he had a huge heart. My heart is shattered for his Momma, kids and grandkids! You all were number one in his life. I will continue to pray for some comfort for y’all knowing he is no longer in pain and safe in the arms of Jesus where we will all be reunited with him someday.. I love you all so much!
