Margie L. Treadway, 90, of Thornburg, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 9, 1935, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Walter and Lila Agee of Alexander, Arkansas. After graduating high school, she attended Pulaski Technical College, where she earned a degree in Business Technology. Margie worked at Cornerstone Medical Clinic in Little Rock for over 20 years.
A devoted Christian, Margie was a faithful and active member of Thornburg Baptist Church for many years. She lived her life grounded in faith, grace, and kindness. A true prayer warrior, she was a beautiful example of what it means to walk with Christ. Margie placed her trust in the Lord and shared His love with everyone around her. Her unwavering belief in God guided her every step and served as a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her. We rejoice knowing she is now in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly. As 2 Timothy 4:7 says, she “fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.” Now, she has received her crown of righteousness.
Margie’s greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who poured her heart into everyone she loved. She will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her. Her legacy of faith, compassion, and devotion will continue to live on in the lives she touched.
She is survived by her sons, Tim Treadway (Stacy) of Thornburg, Arkansas, and Gregory Treadway (Melissa) of Benton, Arkansas, and her daughter, Debra Farris (Raymond Lancaster) of Bauxite, Arkansas. Margie was also blessed with seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren who all loved her dearly.
She is also survived by her two sisters, Pat Davidson of Alexander, Arkansas, and Betty Archer of Beebe, Arkansas, along with a host of extended family and dear friends who were a special part of her life.
Services will be held at Thornburg Baptist Church on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The Treadway family would like to thank Perry County Nursing Home for their loving care, concern, and compassion.

The very first time I met Margie she asked me if I knew her Lord and Savior.
I loved her from that moment on. A strong woman of faith. She loved God. She loved her family. She loved her church family and her neighbors. Always a smile on her face and a positive outlook on life. We will miss her. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul.
