Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Floyd Ray Trice Jr., 73, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on September 9, 2025 at Conway Healthcare and Rehab. He was born August 16, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Floyd Ray Trice Sr. and Mary Azalee (Walden) Trice.

Floyd primarily lived his life in Little Rock and other nearby communities in Central Arkansas. He worked as a carpenter doing home construction. He was also an avid pool player. He was known throughout Arkansas for his reputation as one of the best around. He played in the American Poolplayers Association (APA) and the BCA Pool League.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents Floyd Ray Trice Sr. (4/10/2002) and Mary Azalee (Walden) Trice (4/13/2001) and his brother Bobby Walden.

He is survived by six biological children, each having their own unique journey with Floyd:

Jeromye and his wife, Angi Jackson of Stroud, Oklahoma; Kandi Lindsay of Bastrop, Louisiana; Shaun and his wife, Jasmine Miles of Heber Springs, Arkansas; Shaunda and her husband, Daniel Goodwin of Mountain Home, Arkansas; Kristy Trice of Sherwood, Arkansas; Ashley and her husband, Dustin Waller of Texarkana, Texas.

Twelve grandchildren: Emily Jackson, Courtney New, Lucian Lindsay, Kendra Lindsay, Justin Miles, Dustin Miles, Max Goodwin, Hadley Goodwin, Jack Henry Goodwin, Drake Ratliff, Sloan Cole, and Emma Waller.

Three great-grandchildren: Kelton Brown, Kenna Brown, and Autumn Allen.

A family-hosted graveside memorial service conducted by Chaplain Dale Prater will be held on October 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Orion Cemetery.
