Donnie Ray Sutherland, age 87, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on November 19, 2025. He was born on October 1, 1938 in Garden Hill Township, Illinois to the late Clarence and Stella Sutherland.

Donnie was an avid hunter who also enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafting, and wood working. He loved old-time music, but most of all he loved teasing his friends and family.

Donnie is preceded in death by his wife Carol Sutherland; brother Galen Dean Sutherland; and sister Marilyn Kay Sampson.

Donnie leaves behind his son Douglas Sutherland; grandsons Jacob Sutherland and Zachary Sutherland; siblings Barbara Stivers, Darlene Groves, Sharlyn Brown, David Sutherland, and Carol Sutherland.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

The memorial service will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
