Felton Gerald Ponder, 56, of Smackover passed away on November 8, 2025. He was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on May 1, 1969 to Linnberry Ponder and Myrtle Haynes.

He went by the name Jerry and he was the best uncle anyone could have. He just came and spent a whole month visiting my dad(his older brother) and all of us down here in SouthEast Texas in April and for his birthday on May 1st. One thing that was evident was he loved his son, Jerry Lynn with everything he had and strived to provide whatever he could for him. My heart broke when I heard the news of his passing.. he will be missed for the rest of my life.
