Joanna Edwina Cates, age 76, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on November 1, 2025. She was born on September 4, 1949, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Lloyd and Mary Wood.
Joanna loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Joanna is preceded in death by her parents Lloyd Edward Wood and Mary Lopez Wood; sister Gammah Scarbrough; and her daughter Melissa Ann Cates.
Joanna leaves behind her children Brian Cates (Monique) and Chris Cates (Tiffany); grandchildren Heilea Hensley (Rickie), Zachary Cates (Kiara), Alex Cates; and great grandchildren Reagan Hensley, Dean Cates, and Luke Cates.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society.
