Kent Duncan passed away on November 23, 2025 at his home in Austin, Arkansas. He was born June 5, 1940 in Cortez, Colorado to Henry and Lora Duncan and grew up in Plainview, Texas.

He was a trim carpenter and his handiwork can be seen in many homes around the Cabot area. Kent loved music and served as the music minister in several of the Baptist churches he attended.

Kent was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Lynn Duncan; his son Ryan Duncan; and his daughter Paige Lantz.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Bonnie Duncan; his daughter Stacy Kilgore (Andy); his grandchildren Ashley Stricklin, Aaron Stricklin, Sydney Stricklin, and Hannah Lantz; and three great-grandchildren Ryann Stricklin, Spencer Brown, and Declan Stricklin.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 1:00pm with the funeral service starting at 2:00pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
