Tammy Renee Stivers Pounds, 59, of Mt Vernon, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones on November 28, 2025.
She was born on July 28, 1966, in Bradford, Arkansas, to John Dee and Ollie Mae Stivers.
Tammy had a lot of titles. She was a devoted mother, granny, sister, aunt, and friend. To know her was to love her. She never failed to make you smile.
She is survived by her son, Brandon Pounds, and granddaughter, Skylar Pounds, one brother, Rick Stivers, four sisters, Ruby Wagner,
Mary Johnson, Shirley Harker, Lisa Rhoads, and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was met in Heaven by her mom, dad, sisters, Maxine, Veda, and Ruth, and brothers, John and Don. What a celebration that must’ve been!
Tammy fought the good fight for a long time, but the victory has been won as her fight is over and her body is whole. She will be dearly missed.
A family-hosted celebration of Tammy’s life will be on December 12, 2025, at 2:00 at GracePoint PCG, located at 5094 Highway 5 N, Bryant, Arkansas.
All are welcome.
