Althea Darlene Arterburn of Hensley, Arkansas passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 80. She was born May 11, 1945 to the Parents George and Katie Herndon.

She loved fishing and Stock Car racing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, James Dean Arterburn and Tony Arterburn, grandson Harry Arterburn, sisters Etta Elizabeth Herndon, Helen Campbell, Bea Johnson and brother Buck Herndon.

Darlene is survived by her siblings George Herndon (Sandy), Opal Mae Hammond, Sylvia Smith, Jennie Hunter, Doris Kaufman (Melvin), Roger Herndon (Mary), Bobby Herndon (Rachel), granddaughters Robin Murphy, Morgan Ross, and Karley Arterburn, a great granddaughter Kayleigh Ross.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
