Clifton “Cliff” Moore Jr, born December 29, 1961, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Cliff was a loving, devoted, and selfless man whose presence lifted and strengthened everyone around him.
Though Cliff was in good health and remained physically strong, an unexpected medical event occurred that his body could not overcome. His passing came without warning, a heartbreaking shock to everyone who knew and loved him. In the days leading up to this, Cliff continued serving others with the same dedication he had shown his entire life, working up until the 9th. True to his nature, he never complained or allowed the minor symptoms he was experiencing to worry anyone around him. His quiet strength, humility, and unwavering commitment to those he loved make his loss feel even more profound.
A proud Navy veteran, Cliff served his country with honor before continuing service to his community through his dedicated work on the police force. He was known for his steady work ethic, reliability, and his commitment to always doing what was right. His unmatched integrity, quiet strength, and gentle humor made him deeply cherished by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Richard.
Cliff is survived by his wife, Susie, whom he loved unconditionally and wholeheartedly. She was everything to him and the person he was most committed to loving, supporting, and protecting throughout his life. He leaves behind his children, whom he adored: Summer, Savannah, Ryan, and Trey. He is also survived by his mother, Tracey, and his siblings Cristina, Tyler, Sarah, and brother Jeff, and step siblings brother Marvin, and sisters Theresa, Angelia. Among his greatest joys were his 8 grandchildren.
Cliff will be remembered for his big heart, his generosity, his selflessness, and his unwavering dedication to family and community. His legacy of service, love, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
