
Dudley Joe Dutton, age 60, of Alexander, Arkansas passed away December 21, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. Born in Galesburg, Illinois, Dudley lived numerous places in his life: Illinois, Oklahoma, California and finally landing in Arkansas of which he called his home the last 18years.
Despite many hardships, Dudley faced in life. He was a very selfless and kind hearted man, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed volunteering, helping at the food pantry at his church, often would help with numerous homeless ministries as well as serve at Salvation Army and the Goodwill at times.
Dudley thoroughly enjoyed doing yard work and throwing together unique meals in the kitchen. Dudley was an animal lover and if you knew him you would hear many stories of his animals he has loved through the years. Dudley leaves behind a fur baby, Buddy.
Dudley was preceded in death by his parents.
Dudley is survived by his daughter, Kerri Dutton and one granddaughter, Danica, whom Dudley cherished very much. Dudley is also survived by many friends who became family.
The family would like to thank Ms. Edna Moffatt, Ms. Rita Sewall, CJ and Linda Sue Johnson, Liz Hester, Billy Stevenson, Wayne Smith, Pastor Tom Cumblidge and Paul and Jennifer Burcham and countless others love and support of Dudley.
The family would also like to thank Dr. Y and his team at Carti LR, as well as Baptist Little Rock 7a nurses for their support and care for Dudley during his treatment and end of life. As well as Alexander First Baptist Church for their support for Dudley.
There will be a memorial for Dudley at a future date.

Dudley was a hard worker who took all tasks seriously. He always loved on my dog(s) whenever he did work for me. He was a believer and would help anyone in need.
I’m glad to have known Dudley.
We were so blessed to have been part of Dudley’s life. His caring for others and animals were just Dudley, he loved freely and unconditionally. We miss you Dudley.
