Kimberly Renée Doherty Wiggins, 53, passed away on December 4, 2025. Growing up, she was full of life and laughter. As the oldest of three, she naturally took on the role of leader, protector, and friend. She grew up in southwest Little Rock, where she became a great friend to many. She made countless friendships while growing up in the Assemblies of God and attending McClellan High, and she carried those friendships with her from high school into adulthood through both her school and church community. In the first half of her life, she lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with her bold and joyful spirit.
In the second part of her life, she gave life to many. She made friends everywhere she went, and meeting her left an impression on the hearts of those around her. No matter the situation, her children’s friends became hers, and she gave generously to anyone in her neighborhood regardless of her reserve. Kim was a mom of two and a grandmother of four, and she encouraged, supported, spoiled, and prayed for those girls as she watched them live their lives and create cherished memories. Her daughters and granddaughters were her greatest pride, and she poured her heart into loving them. She was equally close to her son-in-law; she was very proud of him and always made a point to tell him she loved him.
Kim also had a vibrant personality and a joyful collection of interests. She loved music—especially the Bee Gees—and shared that love with her granddaughters, singing in the car and teaching them to bob and vibe with the music. She could make any situation fun and memorable, and her laughter could bring tears to your eyes. Movie nights were sacred and became cherished memories for both of her adult daughters. She didn’t have a favorite season or holiday because she celebrated them all with equal enthusiasm, decorating extravagantly and bringing warmth and joy into every space she touched.
Kim is survived by her mother, Becky E. Bar of Cabot, and her father, David Doherty of Bigelow, AR; her siblings, Bart Doherty of Gulfport, MS, and Kayla Doutt of Floyd, AR, along with their spouses and children; her daughters, Paige Davis and husband Steven, and Taylor Wiggins and fiancé Eljess Hunter; and her four granddaughters, AvaGrace Jobe (10), Tinlee Jobe (9), A’laya Hunter (1), and ElJane Hunter (2 months). She is also survived by her uncle Dale Smith and his wife, her uncle Philip “Terry” Smith and his wife, a host of cousins, and many extended family members.
Kim will be remembered for her laughter, her strength, her compassion, and the deep love she gave so freely. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 2:00 PM at Pinnacle Assembly of God 7803 N Guenther Rd, Roland, AR 72135, with a visit with the family to follow.
Kim will be remembered for her laughter, her strength, her compassion, and the deep love she gave so freely.
