Roy Davon Van Hoosen, also known as “Big Slim or Slim,” age 47, passed away on December 16, 2025, at 3:24 p.m. in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Roy was born on August 13, 1978, in Pensacola, Florida, where many lifelong memories and friendships were formed. He was known for his big heart, kind nature, and unforgettable sense of humor, always finding a way to make others laugh, even during difficult times.

Roy had a passion for buying, fixing, and selling automobiles, a trade he truly enjoyed. He took great pride in his work and was always willing to help others. He was deeply cared for by many friends whose lives he touched through his generosity, loyalty, and genuine spirit.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather Paniagua (Daniel); his beloved granddaughters, Karley and Khloe; his siblings, Anthony “Tony” Parker, James “Jimmy” Van Hoosen, and Jessica Parker; and a lifelong friend, Tonya Phillips.

Roy will be remembered for his kind soul, laughter, and the love he shared with everyone around him. He leaves behind a legacy of friendship, warmth, and memories that will be cherished.
