Wanda Jean Mobbs House, age 77, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away on December 9, 2025, in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Wanda was born on February 23, 1948, in Bayou Meto, Arkansas, to Claude and Erma (Diederich) House, both of whom preceded her in death. She lived most of her life in Cabot, Arkansas.
Wanda’s greatest passion in life was music. She loved to sing and play the guitar, and her family treasures countless memories of sitting together at Christmas while Wanda played and everyone sang along. Patsy Cline was one of her favorites, and music was truly the language of her heart. She also had a soft spot for Snoopy, enjoyed watching classic cartoons like Scooby-Doo and Looney Tunes, and found joy in the simple comforts of home.
Above all else, Wanda adored her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Being surrounded by her family was where she was happiest, and her love for them was unwavering and unconditional.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna (Lucky) Hinds and Rita (Jack West) Tharp; her grandchildren, Crystal (Nick Crews) Talbot, Bridgette (Tony) Barger, Ashley (Todd) Beene, Wendi (Wes Hall) Rodgers, Lucky (Xandria) Hinds III, and Zac (Bethany) Tharp; and her great-grandchildren, Lance Talbot, Macy Talbot, Connor Harrod, Blayne Hall, Noah Talbot, Emily Harrod, Hailey Hinds, Benjamin Hinds, Jace Hall, McKenzie Barger, Nathaniel Crews, Jaxson Barger, Noble Crews, Sativa Tharp, Emma Barger, Zella Hinds, Jacoby Crews, Rivers Tharp, and Harlow Hinds.
She is also survived by her siblings, Jimmy (Judy) House, Ricky (Roxanne) House, Larry (Diane) House, David (Patty) House, and Sharon (Jimmy) Worden.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Erma House, and her sisters, Brenda Horn and Benita Morris.
Wanda will be cremated and laid to rest at Mt. Caramel in Cabot, Arkansas. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, sometime after the holidays, where family and friends will gather to honor her life, her music, and the love she shared with so many.
Her song will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
