Austin Douglas Minard, 29, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away on December 31, 2025. He was born on May 16, 1996, in Searcy, Arkansas.
Austin was many things, but above all, he was a devoted father and a deeply loved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and grandson. His children were his world, and he treasured every moment he was able to spend with them. Whether laughing, playing, or just being together, those moments meant everything to him.
Austin had a way of making people smile without trying. His humor, quick wit, and playful spirit—especially when pestering his siblings—were just part of who he was. He was smart, hardworking, and had a love for rock music. One of his favorite memories was attending a Godsmack concert with VIP tickets, an experience he talked about often and with excitement.
Though Austin didn’t enjoy having his picture taken, the memories made with him are countless and will be held close forever. He loved his family fiercely, and his presence left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
Austin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Howard Hamaker, Uncle Beau Hamaker and his sister, Cierra Arthur.
He is survived by his mother, Stacey Franks; his siblings Alexus Minard and her children, Cruz and Ceaira Gaither; Abbygayle Witcher; and Ayden Witcher. He is also survived by his sons, Braylon and Bentley Minard, and their mother, Victoria Farris; and his daughter, Willow Minard, and her mother, Victoria Rainey. He is further survived by his grandmother, Sharon Ross; his aunt Shelley Shaw and family; his uncle Bryan Hamaker and family; and his uncle Heath Hamaker and family.
Austin’s laughter, energy, and love will be deeply missed, but the memories he leaves behind will continue to speak of the special man he was.
Family-Hosted Memorial Service will be Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at New Life Church; 3400 W. Main St., Cabot, Arkansas 72023.
Donations can be sent directly to A Natural State Funeral Service to help Austin’s family during this time of bereavement.
